This time, it's all about a topic I've been delving into for the past year or so now, the film Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood, which was said to have been lost to time. Released in 2007, this film only had limited screenings in Japan and never saw a home release, causing fans such as myself to go on a large search for the film, and even form a Discord group known as the Phantom Blood Archives, which has since reached over 2,000 members since its creation last year. We've found lots of promotional material, such as posters (including one that I bought, which is attached to this post), fliers, and even a teaser/pilot which was only shown at the 2004 Tokyo Anime Fair.
If you're interested in searching for the film and have Discord, please send me an email at amsadler@olivetcollege.edu and I will send you an invite to the Phantom Blood Archives. If you don't have Discord, that's ok; Just knowing that you're interested in finding the film is an immediate plus. Besides, we may be at 2,000 members, but we need all the help we can get.
