Welcome to the first try of making Jammin' Through History a podcast. While Olivet College is closed due to COVID-19, we are posting new episodes weekly over the internet instead of over the radio. So, sit back and relax as we explain the history of the United States.
This week they talk about America in the 1980s. Finally, it's a show without an outbreak of war and mass destruction and death. Instead, the 1980s brings out two topics that most people try to avoid at the dinner table - politics and pop culture. The 1980s brought Ronald Reagan and his new form of economics, and also the blockbuster hits we still know and love like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Check out the episode here.
